Schedule and Activities

Friday afternoon
4:00pm to 7:30pm

Early registration and informal orientation. Drop in, sign paperwork, find your way around, ask questions.


Saturday
7:30am to 8:15am
Lite breakfast, register (if you did not on Friday night), meet fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.

8:15am to 9:30am
Main hall presentation introducing the event, covering logistics and Motor Sergeant Ben Wolfe discussing the benefits of advanced training.

All Day Sessions (after the Morning Main session Each Day.

Range 1 & 2 - Rider Skills Lab - Intermediate Level Motorcycle Exercises on your own motorcycle- This will run all morning and afternoon sessions
Demo Range - Ben Wolfe and Team Lock & Lean Providing Police Motorskills Demonstrations and trackside discussion
Motorcycle Display Range - Display motorcycles from available dealers (sorry - no demo rides due to insurance)

9:45 am to 10:45  
Workshop 1 - Dr Ray Ochs (curriculum designer for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation) discussing new initiatives.
Workshop 2Steve Panten (ABATE Chair of the Legislative Committee) discussing State and National motorcycle issues.
Workshop 3 Randy Wiessinger (retired Dane County Sheriff) discussing Wisconsin Crash Data - What we know
Range Garage - Kevin Tickner discusses basic motorcycle maintenance
IME Range - Introduction to Motorcycles (We provide the bikes) basic motorcycle info and controls operation - 90 minute sessions

11:00am to 12:00pm
Main 1 - Rider Groups Orientation -
Rider Group offerings (who can I ride with?)
Workshop 1 Marisa Abbott (Wisconsin and Arizona Rider Coach) discussing Throttle Therapy
Workshop 2 - Randy Smith Negotiating Intersections and Curves
Workshop 3 Vicki Sanfelipo providing Accident Scene Management workshops
Range Garage - Packing for Adventure Touring - Craig Johnson runs you through strategic packing for longer wilderness trips

12:00pm to 1:00pm
Box lunch provided for attendees

1:00pm to 2:00pm
2 main hall presentations including Dr Ray Ochs discussing MSFMentorship initiatives and  
Randy Wiessinger  discussing Wisconsin Crash Data - What we know

2:15pm to 3:15pm.
Workshop 1 Greg Patzer presents HOW NOT TO CRASH/Risk Offset
Workshop 2 Karrie Heinze discussing Track Training and Track Days
Workshop 3 Gary Klinker Adequate Braking and Crash Avoidance
Range Garage - Packing for Adventure Touring - Craig Johnson runs you through strategic packing for longer wilderness trips

3:30pm to 4:30pm
Workshop 1 Vicki Sanfelipo providing ASMI workshops
Workshop 2 Law Firm of Hupy and Abraham discussing adequate insurance needs for your motorcycle
Range Garage - Kevin Tickner discusses basic motorcycle maintenance
